Mátraháza, the destination

Mátraháza is a tiny mountain resort northeast of Budapest, with a subalpine climate, popular among hikers and wine lovers. It is 2 kms from Kékestető, the highest peak in Hungary (1014 m).


How to get there

The congress venue is 93 kms from Budapest, 98 kms from Liszt Ferenc Airport, it takes approx. 70 minutes to arrive.

Climate

The weather in early April is generally sunny, with possible rain. Highs are 10-18 0C, lows at night 5-10 0C.

GETTING IN: Citizens of EU- and EEA-member states may travel to Hungary without a visa. Family members of citizens of EEA Member States may also travel to Hungary without a visa if they received a residence card issued for family members of EEA citizens or a residence permit issued by any Schengen Member State. The official language of the Congress is English. No translation will be provided.
